Banafsheh Ahmadzadeh began her career in 1999. She initially worked in the field of painting and illustration, and for several years now, she has been focusing on creating volumetric works in addition to paintings. She has participated in several group exhibitions in Iran and abroad, and has also held a solo exhibition. She has curated numerous exhibitions, held art workshops, and collaborated with Iranian and European publishers.

Ahmadzadeh has been focusing on creating metal volumes for many years, in addition to working in the field of painting and illustration.

The use of Iranian motifs and patterns and elements of local architecture is a characteristic of her works. Decay and destruction in urban landscapes are her concerns, which she expresses through the recreation of familiar forms with sections of Iranian architecture.
